The Mystery of Iniquity

The Mystery of Iniquity B. Keith Chadwell
This is the third of a series of studies on 2nd Thessalonians 2:. May the Lord open the eyes of our understanding and give us ears to hear.

These studies are posted on and may be accessed from the teachings page. It is important that you study part 1 and 2 before starting part 3, below.

Let’s go on with our series of studies in 2nd Thessalonians 2: By direct reference we can associate “that wicked” in verse 8 with that man of sin” in verse 3.

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, (as) the son of perdition; (Continue reading)

The brightness of His Coming

“The brightness of His Coming”
This is the 2nd in a series of studies on 2nd Thessalonians 2:

If we can set aside what our, leavened, religious traditions have taught us, we may begin to see through to the truth.  However, be forewarned; the traditions of men are powerful and can be, powerfully, deceptive.  (continue reading)

The Leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees

The Leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees

This is the first of a series of studies on 2nd Thessalonians 2:

This series of studies is posted on and may be accessed from the teachings page.
The truth is the truth, no matter what we believe.  However, as the Spirit of God opens the eyes of our understanding in these days, we may discover we have been stumbling over obstacles to the truth in the scriptures which have been placed there, by God.  The “strong delusion” described in 2nd Thessalonians 2:11, is clearly such a mystery obstacle  (continue reading)

Revealing the Mystery of the Kingdom

“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”  Amos 3:7

This will require servants who are willing to put aside tradition, self-esteem, reputation and any such attributes of the flesh. For this message will not set well with those who espouse traditional leavened religious theology.

The complete revelation of the end, goal or point aimed at, which God has purposed for His church in the earth will blow the fuses in the carnal mind, defy the wildest imaginations and shoot traditional religious eschatology in the foot. The old wine skin will not contain this revelation.

Yet… to those who would be led by the Sprit, the promise is sure.  It is His promise, for those who will, to move from spiritual childhood to full maturity; “Sons of God, without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation”.

Eye hath not seen nor ear heard” of such a thing, it is nearly impossible to imagine… except by His Sprit.  Unbelievable to the natural mind, but purposed by God before the foundations of the world to make known to angels and powers His wisdom, prepared in ages past and carried out in Jesus Christ.

When?  How?  Where?

We must not force it to fit what we think we know; this would be a huge mistake.   The “force fit” happens all too often to feed an ego when we only “know in part”.  Individual preeminence and reputation is not a part of this plan.  We are a body, made up of lots of parts, designed to function as a unit.  What we are given in part, by design, will require the contribution of others to make complete.  Allow the Spirit to direct us to others and …“iron will sharpen iron”.

He that has eyes to see and ears to hear let them listen, look, speak and do, only as the spirit leads. Give only such as you have been given and authorized to give.  Pray in the spirit, sow to the spirit, commit to the death of self and allow Christ in us; “to will and to do, His good pleasure”.
Hold steady, the Spirit will reveal this mystery, which was purposed of old by God, to be concealed and then to be revealed in Christ.

And the Lord answered me, and said; Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”    Habakkuk 2:

Forget tradition and leavened doctrine.  Learn from the mistakes of the Jewish religious leadership of 30AD.   With all their amassed knowledge of scripture, they still missed…” the day of their visitation”.

Efforts of the flesh will be unable to meet the conditions and fulfill the destiny God has set forth for those who will be led by His Spirit and allow Christ to be Glorified in them.

Rest in Him, He must do this work, we must totally surrender.   Without Him, we can accomplish nothing.
