Committing our ways to Him

Committing our ways to Him

B. Keith Chadwell 3.18

Psalms 37:5-6
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

We are instructed to commit our way or choose God's rule, within us, then have faith (trust) He will bring it to pass. If we are serious with God about walking in the Spirit, this is the way..."walk ye in it".

He, then, cleanses and changes our hearts… our thought processes, which begin to arise, “as the light” coming forth from a changed heart that He is changing.  Then, progressively, will come forth the manifestations of ”His righteousness” from our innermost being, which will be manifest, morning by morning.  Kind of like the daylight gradually rises each morning and progressively pushes out the darkness.

This process (yes, I said “process”)  is not "instant potatoes". However, He is able to keep that which we COMMIT TO HIM against "that day".  The  day;  in which His full righteousness will be manifest through us, who commit ourselves to Him and His work in us.   So… by faith, we are the righteousness of God, until.... “His righteousness” is manifest through us, in fact, and those around us will see it and glorify our Father which is in heaven.

Whatever light we are blessed to have been given during that process; let it shine. Let it shine until "that day" that "Christ in us" is fully manifest and we are "like Him".

Matt 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

We choose & commit....Heaven rushes to our aid.  It is, then, God's work.  Like planting seeds, it is a process. It takes time from planting to harvest. In the meanwhile “FAITH”  will be the substance of the harvest  hoped for.....but not, yet, fully manifest.
